If the information is correct then proceed with the update process and select the required identity card and upload it in JPEG, PNG or PDF format. After this, upload the address proof document, give consent and submit it. In this way your Aadhaar gets updated.
Problems may arise if Aadhaar is not updated
If Aadhaar card is not updated on time then many types of problems may arise. There may be a delay in opening a bank or demat account, while the KYC process may also be affected. Apart from this, there may also be problems like problem in PAN and Aadhaar linking, delay in getting pension or subsidy, stoppage of benefits of government schemes and obstruction in mobile SIM verification.
