Humanity put to shame in Nawada, Bihar, ambulance not found to carry mother’s body, stretcher given, wife and son mortgaged in return
Desk: A case of shaming humanity has come to light in Nawada district of Bihar. A case reported in Akbarpur Primary Health Center of Nawada has surprised everyone. An ambulance was not found here to take the mother’s body. The helpless son pleaded for this. The people present in the hospital folded their hands and legs, writhed and pleaded for help. Still no help was given.
In Bihar, ASI committed suicide by consuming sulfas, his health had deteriorated in the police station itself while on duty.
Later asked for a stretcher, after much pleading the stretcher was given, but a condition was put for it. In exchange for the stretcher, his wife and son were mortgaged to the hospital. The family members told that the mother’s body was dragged on a stretcher and taken to the house. It was only when the stretcher was returned to the hospital that the wife and son were released. On this matter, Civil Surgeon Vinod Kumar Chaudhary said that a committee will be formed to investigate the matter and action will be taken after the report comes.
