Humayun Kabir arrived in Murshidabad to lay the foundation of ‘Babri Masjid’, thanked Bengal Police for security.

Murshidabad, 6 December. Former Trinamool Congress leader and MLA Humayun Kabir is adamant on laying the foundation stone of ‘Babri Masjid’ in Murshidabad, West Bengal on Saturday. He told that the foundation of ‘Babri Masjid’ will be laid after 12 noon. Humayun Kabir has reached Beldanga in Murshidabad. While taking stock, suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir said, “The Quran will be read after 12 noon and after that the foundation stone will be laid.”

Humayun Kabir said that he is getting support from West Bengal Police. I am being protected. I thank you for this. I heartily salute and congratulate the entire Muslim community. After this, Humayun Kabir said from the stage, “In 2024, I had announced that I will soon inaugurate the Babri Masjid in Beldanga, Murshidabad. Today on 6th December, I have come here to lay the foundation of Babri Masjid in Murshidabad.”

Apart from this, tractors carrying construction material from many districts including Malda for the construction of Babri Masjid are reaching Beldanga in Murshidabad. Some Muslim people from different parts of Bengal have reached Murshidabad with bricks on their heads. One person said that our mosque will be built. Trinamool Congress on Thursday announced the suspension of Humayun Kabir from the party.

The Trinamool Congress leadership had warned Kabir several times for alleged anti-party activities and making public comments that could embarrass the leadership. Firhad Hakim, a minister in the West Bengal government, said the party took the decision because of his recent actions. After suspension from Trinamool Congress, Humayun Kabir has also announced to form his own separate party.
