Mumbai, Actor Pankaj Tripathi is well aware that he lacks hero-like quality, but he is also well aware that he is considered a good actor.
He says, “I was never thought of as a hero material.” I am an actor and I am considered a good actor.
He has a character in his recently released film Pepper, which has a combination of stardom and heroism.
To this, he says, the film attempts to assimilate the ideas of heroism and carve out the prevailing star system in the industry.
The paper is inspired by a true story, in which Pankaj plays a man who is officially declared dead and struggles to prove to the corruption-ridden system that he is still alive.
Pankaj views the film as a personal achievement because the kind of common feeling that a hero has, it challenges that feeling.
He further says, I am happy that Satish Kaushik entrusted the responsibility of handling this film to a single artist like me.
