In Bijnor, two policemen were suspended for drunkenness and indecency while on khaki in Bijnor.

Bijnor. Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadaun has suspended two constables while taking action on Tuesday on charges of intoxication and indecency while on duty. A departmental inquiry has also been ordered against them.

According to the information, Anuchar Narpal Singh was posted in the mess of the police line these days. He is accused of abusing fellow employees after getting intoxicated. Taking the complaint seriously, the Superintendent of Police got Narpal medically examined in the district hospital, where alcohol was confirmed. On this, departmental action has been initiated by suspending Narpal Singh.

Similarly, Yogesh Kumar posted in the district had gone to Pilibhit for the duty of municipal elections. The constable misbehaved with his senior officers while on booth duty at Rama Inter College of Thana Sungarhi. On complaining about this, the SP suspended the constable and also ordered departmental action.
