New Delhi, 16 March. The cases of infection with the corona virus are once again increasing rapidly in the country. In view of this, on Thursday, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan wrote a letter to the Principal Secretaries of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka asking them to take additional vigilance and necessary preventive measures. Through a letter, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, drawing attention to the increasing cases of corona in the state, has asked to take measures at the micro level for its prevention and better management. At the same time, states have been asked to emphasize on Test, Track, Treat vaccination.

In a letter written to the Chief Secretaries of these states, Rajesh Bhushan has asked them to increase monitoring and take all necessary steps, while noting the double increase in corona cases in the last one week. In his letter, he has asked the states to strictly implement all measures to prevent corona, while insisting on giving precaution dose under vaccination. It is noteworthy that till March 8, 2,082 new cases of corona were reported in the country, which has increased to 3,264 till March 15. New cases of corona have increased at double the speed in some states.
