A dreary, overcast morning in Kanpur caused a delay in the start of the second Test match between India and Bangladesh. With the ominous clouds overhead, play was halted due to poor light forcing both teams to retreat to the dressing rooms. Shortly thereafter, a heavy downpour began, once again enveloping the entire ground as the wait continued. With the rain persisting and the forecast showing little improvement, match officials had no choice but to call it a day, holding out hope for better conditions tomorrow morning.
