But in the meantime there is a picture which is troubling the fans of Rishabh Pant. Actually it is being told that Rishabh Pant may have a back problem after the third ODI. If this happens, Sanju Samson can go on Bangladesh tour in his place.

Everyone expected a big inning from Rishabh Pant in the last ODI against New Zealand, but once again Pant disappointed everyone and scored only 10 runs. Rishabh Pant was seen struggling even while playing. As soon as he returned to the pavilion after getting out, he went to the dressing room and started getting massages. The massage was being done on the back, because of this it is being speculated that Rishabh Pant may have a back problem.

Pant’s bad form

In the ODI series on New Zealand tour, Rishabh Pant has scored only runs in 39 balls in 2 innings. In the year 2022, Pant scored 336 runs in 10 innings of 12 ODIs, including a century and two half-centuries. In T20 International in 2022, he has added only 364 runs in 21 innings of 25 matches and his strike rate is slightly above 130. In T-T20 where big innings were expected from Pant, he could not do anything special.

Samson in place of Pant

Sanju Samson was given a chance in the first match of the ODI series against New Zealand, in which Sanju performed better. Sanju played an inning of 36 runs in the first ODI. Even before this, when South Africa came in the home series, then Sanju Samson scored runs in every match.

Sanju has added 179 runs in 5 innings of 6 matches in T20 International in 2022 and his strike rate is 158.40. Samson has scored 284 runs in 9 innings of 10 ODIs in 2022 in piecemeal opportunities. In such a situation, Sanju Samson can be given a chance in place of Rishabh Pant.
