India took a big step regarding a peak of Arunachal; China is furious over the decision

Tsangyang Gyatso Peak Arunachal: There has been a tense situation in the last few years regarding the border dispute between India and China. In which there are some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, which China has been claiming as its territory. Meanwhile, India has decided to name a peak in Arunachal Pradesh after the sixth Dalai Lama Tsangyang Gyatso. At the same time, China has been enraged by this decision of India.

In fact, a team of the National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (NIMS) successfully climbed the 20,942 feet unnamed peak of Arunachal Pradesh, which no one had climbed till now. After this success, the team has decided to name this unnamed peak after the sixth Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Gyatso. Let us tell you that NIMS working under the Defense Ministry is located in Dirang, Arunachal Pradesh.

The Defense Ministry said in a statement that naming the peak after the Sixth Dalai Lama is a tribute to his wisdom and his contributions. The sixth Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Gyatso, was born in the Mon Tawang region in 1682. On the other hand, China has claimed this peak as part of its territory Jangnan.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said in response to a media question on Thursday, “I am not aware of what you said. Let me say broadly that the area of ​​Jangnan is Chinese territory, and it is illegal and invalid for India to establish the so-called Arunachal Pradesh in Chinese territory.

Jian further said, “There has been a dispute between China and India regarding Arunachal Pradesh for years. China calls Arunachal Pradesh as Zangnan. India has always rejected these claims of China, and has described Arunachal Pradesh as an integral part of the country.
