India’s victory in Champions Trophy 2025
ICC **Champions Trophy 2025** was organized in Pakistan and UAE. India was successful in defeating New Zealand in the final of this tournament. Team India captured this important trophy under the captaincy of **Rohit Sharma**.
In the final match, Rohit played a brilliant inning of 76 runs, which helped India win. With this victory, Team India won the **Champions Trophy** title after 12 years.
India’s success in Asia Cup 2025
**Asia Cup 2025** was also organized in UAE. India faced Pakistan in the final. In this tournament, India defeated Pakistan thrice and won the trophy.
Pakistan had scored 146 runs in the final, in response to which India won by 5 wickets. **Tilak Verma** scored an unbeaten 69 runs to give the team an important victory. With this success, India won the **Asia Cup** trophy, which was its 9th win.
Indian women win in Women’s World Cup 2025
This year was especially memorable for the Indian women’s cricket team. Under the captaincy of **Harmanpreet Kaur**, India won the **Women’s World Cup** title for the first time. Team India’s comeback after consecutive defeats was most important.
In the final, India defeated **South Africa** by 52 runs. India set a target of 299 runs, but the South African team was limited to 246 runs, due to which the Indian women’s team won by 52 runs.
