Sydney, Injuries and racist comments have brought the Indian team players closer and the team is fighting like a warrior on the field, according to Ravichandran Ashwin, the team’s off-spinner.
India’s Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja have been injured in the third Test match being played at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). At the same time, the team is also facing racial comments.
After Sunday’s game ended on the fourth day, Ashwin said, “I personally feel that whatever the situation is facing us, we faced it like a warrior and we will continue the fight tomorrow.”
He said, I think when the calamity comes, the team is together. We were together after the Adelaide Test and we talked. After that match we came very close and we saw the result in MCG. We looked quite positive.
Ashwin has confirmed that Pant will bat on the fifth day.
He said, Pant will bat. The injury was very serious and he was in a lot of pain. The elbow is a very delicate place. But you know that things like Jadeja got hurt, and it bumps you back.
