Indigo Crisis: More than 220 Indigo flights canceled on Sunday also, government said – refund money by 8 pm
New Delhi. Efforts are being made to resolve the operational crisis in Indigo Airlines and normalize the situation, but the crisis continues for the sixth consecutive day and on Sunday also, more than 220 flights were canceled at major airports like Delhi and Mumbai. Due to the ongoing crisis in Indigo, about 3000 flights have been canceled in the last six days, due to which air traffic in the country has been badly affected and lakhs of passengers have to face a lot of trouble.

At least 112 flights were canceled at Mumbai Airport and 109 flights at Delhi Airport on Sunday. Earlier on Friday, about 1,600 IndiGo flights were cancelled. However, the number of canceled flights came down to around 800 on Saturday. Now the government has also taken a tough stance on the Indigo crisis and on Saturday, DGCA issued a notice to Indigo CEO Peter Elbers and COO and Accounts Manager Porqueras, seeking a reply within 24 hours on the operational crisis.
