The second phase of monsoon has started in the country. Along with this, the havoc of heavy rain continues in some areas. Heavy rains have started once again in Maharashtra. Incessant torrential rains have caused flooding in some areas. The Meteorological Department has warned that there will be more heavy rains in the next few days. The India Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the states where moderate to heavy rains have been predicted in the coming days. At the same time, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in western Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh between August 6 and August 7.

According to the Meteorological Department, a red alert has been issued for heavy rains in Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa from 6 to 9 August. There will be heavy rains in Tezzbuzz and Saurashtra on August 8 and 9. Also, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha between August 7 and 9.
Heavy rain warning has been issued for Telangana, Coastal and North Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala from August 6 to 9. At the same time, continuous rain is expected in western Uttar Pradesh for the next 48 hours i.e. till August 6 and 7.
Alert for Central India
A warning of heavy rain has been issued in Gujarat on 9 August. On the other hand, heavy rains are expected over Chhattisgarh, parts of Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa on August 8 and 9.
According to the IMD, West Bengal, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh will receive rain on August 5. Apart from this, there will be heavy rain in Jharkhand on 6 August.
Yellow alert in the northeast
At the same time, heavy rain warning has been issued in Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from 6 to 9 August. Moderate to heavy rains are likely over West Bengal between August 6 and 7.
On the other hand, if we talk about North India, then UP, which is suffering from humidity and heat, is expected to get some relief today. There is a possibility of rain in many districts today.
