On the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the fourth Regional Industry Conclave (RIC) was organized in Sagar on Friday. The objective of this conclave was to encourage industrial development in the state and attract investors. During the summit, investors shared their experiences and said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is moving towards development at a fast pace. The initiative of Regional Industry Conclave is welcome.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, as the chief guest, highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening the business environment and promoting balanced development. The Chief Minister said that the country and Madhya Pradesh are moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. We are developing infrastructure for the development of Bundelkhand. We have made step-by-step creations for employment. By organizing Regional Industry Conclave at the division level, we are connecting the entire state with development.

Proposal to set up data center in Sagar

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this Regional Industry Conclave will inspire significant progress in the Bundelkhand region. With significant investments, this initiative will not only generate employment opportunities for the youth but will also encourage the growth of surrounding and associated businesses, thereby boosting overall regional development.

He said that a big proposal has been received to set up a data center in Sagar. The families associated with industry and business in the state are continuously cooperating. He said that efforts are being made to establish all types of industries and provide employment in the interest of the poor, women, farmers and youth. The state government is committed to providing employment to the people as per their capacity. Favorable opportunities are being provided in the state for trade and business. The target is to double the state’s economy in the coming 5 years, which we will try to accomplish within three years.

Investment proposals worth Rs 23 thousand crores received

CM Yadav said that investment proposals worth Rs 23181 crore have been received in the conclave organized in Sagar, in which about 27375 jobs are likely to be created. Investment proposals worth Rs 22241 crore have been received for setting up large scale units. Investment proposals worth Rs 940 crore were received for setting up MSME units.

Letters of intent issued to 96 units

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed virtual inauguration/bhoomi pujan of industry related establishments and letters of intent of 96 units were issued to investors, in which 240 acres of land was allotted, with a capital investment of more than Rs. 1560 crore and employment for more than 5900 people. Employment is proposed. Under the organization of Bundelkhand Hackathon, 60 startups participated, in which the first 5 winning startups among the participating startups were given prize money, trophy and citation by the Honorable Chief Minister.

More than 3500 participants participated

The conclave held at Sagar was attended by more than 3500 participants, including international delegates from 6 countries (Mongolia, Thailand, Algeria, Kenya, Canada and Iran), foreign diplomats/missions, 150 distinguished guests, more than 700 special invitees and 1000 More than 100 MSME participants were involved.

The focus of the conclave was mainly on investment in sectors like petrochemicals, renewable energy, textile and garment, tourism, handicrafts, agriculture, dairy and food processing etc. The conference provided a platform for exchange of ideas, innovations and investments, where Madhya Pradesh was showcased as a fast-growing industrial hub.

Investors shared their experiences

During the summit, leading industrialists shared their experiences. Expressed happiness while expressing the immense possibilities of investment in Madhya Pradesh. Praising the positive initiatives of Madhya Pradesh government, he described Madhya Pradesh as the best state for investment. During this, Sudhir Aggarwal, Chairman, Sagar Group, Sanjay Khanna, Director Refinery Bharat Petroleum Corporation Mumbai, Sunil Bansal, M.D. Pankaj Oswal, MD, Madhya Bharat Agro, Bansal Group of Industries, Bhopal shared his views on the industrial scenario and growth prospects of the state.
