iPhone SE 4 likely to launch in March 2025

Delhi Delhi. A new report says that Apple may launch the iPhone SE 4 at the end of the first quarter of 2025. This indicates that the company may launch its fourth generation budget iPhone models sometime in March 2025. This would be in line with the timeline Apple has chosen for its iPhone SE lineup in the past. For those unaware, the first generation iPhone SE was launched in March 2016, while the second generation iPhone SE arrived in April 2020 and the third generation iPhone SE arrived in March 2022. In addition to the launch timeline, the new report from MacRumours also says that the iPhone SE 4 will be the first device in Apple's product lineup to debut with a company-designed 5G modem — a feature the company has been working on since 2018. In order to reduce and eventually eliminate its dependence on Qualcomm. According to separate reports, the iPhone 17 Air is also likely to come with the company's in-house 5G modem.

As far as specifications are concerned, reports have already revealed what we should expect from the third generation iPhone SE launching next year. The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is expected to have a very similar design to the iPhone 14. This will be the first iPhone SE model to opt for Face ID over Touch ID, which is a standard feature in all premium iPhone models. In terms of display, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to get a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz screen refresh rate. The third generation iPhone SE models are expected to feature a new A-series chip that will support some Apple Intelligence features in the device. However, earlier reports had suggested that the device could come with an A18 chip. Talking about the camera, Apple is also expected to give a camera bump in the next-generation iPhone SE 4. It is expected to have a 48MP camera on the back and 8MP camera on the front. Although there is no information about the price yet, but reports suggest that the price of the device may be slightly higher than its previous model.
