IPL 2025: A player who was sold for a record 13th time in the IPL auction.

Delhi: There is one player in the IPL auction who is making records for his sales. The name of this player is Jaydev Unadkat and in the auction held in Jeddah, he was sold for a record 13th time. The team did not change as Sunrisers Hyderabad had released him before the auction and bought him back in the auction. The previous contract was for Rs 5 crore and now it was awarded for only Rs 1 crore, which means the franchise has saved Rs 4 crore in this exercise. However, this gave Unadkat a chance to make the record of being sold in the auction for the 13th time. And no player has been sold even 10 times.

Therefore, it would not be wrong to call Jaydev Unadkat rich in luck. If the team is releasing him, then the new team also comes forward as a buyer. Even though he is out of the radar of selectors for Team India, his luck is running out in the IPL market.

They still missed out on setting a record. The record of playing for the maximum number of 9 teams in IPL is in the name of Australia's Aaron Finch while Jaydev Unadkat has played for 8 IPL franchises so far. If this time again instead of being bought by Sunrisers, any one of Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings or Gujarat Titans would have bought it, then Finch's record would have been equal. Yet an interesting thing is that despite playing for 8 teams since 2010, he has never been a part of the team that has won the trophy.

IPL Record: 99 wickets in 105 matches at an average of 32.21, including the best season in 2017 when he took 24 wickets. Know the teams for which he played:
