IPL 2026 Auction: Preparations for the Indian Premier League 2026 have intensified and in this sequence, BCCI has released the shortlist of players for this year’s mini auction. Thousands of players had given names for this year’s mini auction, but only 350 players will be bid in the mini auction. This year’s mini auction will be held on 16 December in Abu Dhabi. Where all 10 teams will go into the bidding war for 77 places.
Who is included in this shortlist?
His names were given among 1,390 players from all over the world for this year’s mini auction. Out of which only 350 players have been shortlisted for the auction. The names of 240 Indian and 110 foreign players are included in this list. The shortlisted players include 224 Indian uncapped and 14 foreign uncapped players. These players include experienced Indian players, rising stars of domestic cricket, foreign players who are making waves in T20 leagues and some surprise names.

Why is mini auction special?
IPL 2026 auction is going to be very special for the teams. All teams will bid on 350 players for 77 places. Out of 350 players, 40 players have given their names at the base price of Rs 2 crore. In which only two are Indians. This time’s auction includes many names who were not part of the last IPL. But this time it can be sold at a high price in mini auction.
