350 players finalized for IPL 2026 mini auction, Quinton de Kock returns in this list
IPL 2026 Mini Auction Final Players List: The final list of players for the mini auction of IPL 2026 has been released. According to the updated list, now a total of 1350 players will be auctioned during the IPL auction. The mini auction of IPL 2026 will take place on December 16 in Abu Dhabi.
BCCI had earlier released the list of 1355 players for the auction. But BCCI asked all the 10 franchises for the names of the players they want to see in the auction. After which 25 new names were added to this list. In which 13 Indian and 12 foreign players have been included. The list was shortened after including 25 players. Players who the franchises do not want have been dropped. Now bidding will take place only on a total of 1350 players.
Quinton de Kock returns
These new names also include South Africa’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock. He was not part of the initial list but has been included after a special recommendation from a franchise. De Kock has recently withdrawn his international retirement and returned to cricket. According to reports, he has halved his base price, and will now be available in the Rs 1 crore bracket. Last year in the mega auction, he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for his base price of Rs 2 crore, but this year KKR released him.

According to the mail sent by BCCI to the franchises, the IPL 2026 mini auction will be held on December 16 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. The auction will start at 1 pm UAE time and 2:30 pm Indian time. The auction process will begin with the capped players, followed by an accelerated round. This round will start after number 70 player Wahidullah Zadran.
71 to 350 players will bid in the accelerated round.
BCCI said that the first accelerated round will cover players from 71 to 350. After this, the franchises will be requested to send the names of the players they wish to include in the further accelerated presentation. Even if they are unsold or not yet introduced.
This time in the list of new foreign players, four Sri Lankan players Dunith Vellalage, Trevin Mathew, Binura Fernando and Kusal Perera have been included, who have got a place in the final list on the basis of the recommendation of the franchises. Talking about the purse of the franchises, Kolkata Knight Riders will enter the auction with the biggest purse of ₹ 64.3 crore, while Chennai Super Kings will have ₹ 43.4 crore and Sunrisers Hyderabad will have ₹ 25.5 crore. Overall, there are 77 slots vacant in this auction, out of which 31 slots have been earmarked for foreign players.
