Irrigation canal became drain on Dhanbad Road, villagers demanded solution to the problem

Barhi- The irrigation canal located on Barhi Patna Road has now been completely converted into a drain. Due to its non-use for irrigation and lack of maintenance by the Irrigation Department, this canal has gradually become a hub of garbage and filth. Due to lack of maintenance of the canal, all the drains and garbage from the surrounding residential areas are falling into it, due to which bad smell and pollution is spreading in the area. Regarding this problem, local villagers called former MLA Manoj Kumar Yadav and informed him about the situation and demanded a solution to this issue.

Villagers said that this canal passes through the residential complexes on Dhanbad Road and now it is in a bad condition. The constant filling of filth and garbage and the foul smell emanating from the canal have made it difficult to live in the area. The condition of this drain has become so bad that nearby residents are facing toxic pollution. The local people have decided to organize a meeting at Keshari Dharamshala and get the drain cleaned with public cooperation.

Also, an appeal has been made to the district administration to find a solution to this problem as soon as possible. The villagers have expressed hope that former MLA Manoj Kumar Yadav will try to take appropriate steps in this matter before the administration so that the condition of this canal can be improved. On the occasion, apart from former MLA Manoj Kumar Yadav, District Council Vice President Kisun Yadav, BJP District Vice President Ramesh Thakur, Barhi Western Division President Bhagwan Keshari, Eastern Division President Vijay Yadav, Mewalal Keshari, Ritesh Gupta, General Secretary Naval Kishore Singh, Brahmdev Yadav were present. , Mahendra Keshari, Neetu Singh, Ranjit Yadav were present.
