Both the Indian openers, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal joined hands to give India a solid century stand and put their team in the driving seat with a 200-plus lead at the day end. While Jaiswal was solid on 90, Rahul was firm at 62 as India reached 172/0, with a total lead of 218 runs against Australia. Both the batters proved too hot for the quality Aussie bowling, which failed to get even a single wicket in the entire two sessions of play on Saturday.
