Vadodara News: Today is Kalabhairava Jayanti, the fifth incarnation of Rudra is Kalabhairava. Kaal means time which identifies the time of action of human life. Kaalbhairav ​​is the protector deity. Kalabhairava has major importance in Ekadash Rudra Kartak Vad Atham i.e. Kalashtami which we celebrate as Kalabhairava Jayanti. On this day, Kalbhairav ​​is especially worshiped for the protection of life, protection of family and prevention of evil.

Devotees especially wear black clothes on this day and worship Kalabhairava. Common devotees offer black urad, sugar and mustard oil to Kalbhairav ​​on this day. On this day, especially the mantra ૐ Kalabhairavaya Namah Bam Batukay Namah is chanted. Maha Aarti will also be held this afternoon on the occasion of Kalbhairav ​​Jayanti in the Ashtabhuja Mata Temple complex near Fatepura Sarsaiya Pond of the city.

In this regard, astrologer Satyam Mahendra Joshi told that Kalbhairav ​​is called the Kotwal of Kashi. The main shrine of Kalabhairava is in Kashi.
