Kashmiri Paneer is rich in protein, know how to make it
Ingredients required to make Kashmiri Paneer
Paneer cut into pieces – 2 cups
Milk – 2 cups
Oil – 2 tbsp
Bay leaves – 2-3
Cloves – 2-3
Cardamom – 4
Fennel – 2 teaspoons
Fenugreek – 2 teaspoons
Cumin – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Dry ginger powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Saffron – a pinch
Salt – as per taste
To make tasty Kashmiri Paneer, first cut the paneer into small square pieces. Then make powder of cloves, cardamom, fennel and fenugreek. After this, take a pan and add oil in it and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds and the prepared powder of these spices. After this, add milk along with this mixture and boil it. When the milk starts boiling, add turmeric powder, dry ginger powder, garam masala powder, bay leaves and saffron and mix it. Keep in mind that cook it on low flame only, so that it avoids falling.
After this, put the chopped pieces of paneer in the hot pan. After this, when the milk boils well, add salt to it. Now reduce the flame of the gas and cook until the cheese becomes soft. Meanwhile, try pressing the cheese pieces. – As soon as the cheese pieces become soft, take it off the gas. After this, garnish with finely chopped green coriander. Now this delicious vegetable can be served with roti, rice or naan.
