Kharge’s advice to party workers, victory will be ensured only by fighting unitedly. – ..

New Delhi, 29 November (HS). Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said on Friday that the results of the recent assembly elections have a message for the party that we have to unite and remove our weaknesses at the organizational level.

He said that differences within the organization have become a major reason for defeat and we have to stop making statements against each other.

In his opening statement at the Congress Working Committee meeting, Kharge told the party leaders that the atmosphere in the assembly elections was in favor of the party, but we will have to learn to ensure victory by turning the atmosphere in our favor. We need to know why we are not able to win despite the environment being in our favor.

He said that although INDI coalition government has been formed in two of the four states, the party’s performance is quite low.

He expressed concern over the below expected performance in the assembly elections. He advised the leaders to focus on local problems rather than national leadership and issues.

Kharge said local leaders should plan elections a year in advance, focusing on local issues. We should prepare for the elections in advance and first focus on the voting list and ensure that the name of the voter from our side does not get removed from the voter list.

Kharge said that the party’s performance in the Lok Sabha elections has been good but in the subsequent state assembly elections, its performance has been much less than expected.
