This dish is one of the most special chaats of Lucknow which you can make with the help of these ingredients..

This is the necessary material

Flour-2 cups
Oil- one spoon
Salt- as per taste
Water- as per requirement
Boiled potatoes – 2 cups (mashed)
Chickpeas – 1 cup (boiled)
Curd- 1 cup
Mint and tamarind chutney – 1-2 cups
Cumin powder- 1 teaspoon (roasted)
Black pepper- ¼ teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Pale Sev – 2 cups
Salt- as per taste
Green coriander – for garnish

Know how to make Lucknowi Basket Chaat

1- To make this dish, first add flour, salt and oil in a vessel and knead a soft dough. Now keep it covered for 20-30 minutes to set.
2- Now to make the basket, make small balls of the dough and roll one ball and spread it over a bowl. Keep in mind to hold the edges and give them a basket like shape.
3-Now fry these baskets in hot oil till they turn golden and take them out and keep them on a paper towel.
4- Now to make chaat, add boiled potatoes, chickpeas, roasted cumin powder, black pepper, red chili powder and salt in a vessel. Mix it well.
5- Now fill the basket with this mixture little by little with the help of a spoon. Garnish with curd, chutney and finely chopped green coriander. Finally add finely chopped sev and serve it.
