AR Rahman and Saira Divorce: When the news of separation of AR Rahman and his wife Saira Banu came out, this news was a big shock for the fans and media, because both of them had been married for 29 years. Rehman clarified his position on the issue by writing a post, in which he reacted to the news of separation and also used the hashtag. According to media reports, lawyer Vandana Shah, who is a well-known divorce lawyer, said that there are many aspects in such cases, in which personal life, family matters and legal issues are taken into consideration. Vandana Shah said that the reasons for separation depend only on personal and mutual understanding and it can be a sensitive matter for both the parties.

While discussing, Vandana Shah said that the reasons for divorce of famous people are no different from that of common people. Just like in normal life, he also struggles with his personal problems and relationships. When asked about AR Rahman and Saira Banu's decision to separate, Vandana Shah, citing privacy, said that something must have happened between the two, due to which she took this step. He also clarified that it is not right to make any guesses or spread rumors regarding the reasons for divorce, because it is a personal and sensitive matter. Whatever issues arise in any relationship depend on the personal thinking, feelings and understanding of both the parties.
There is no divorce between AR Rahman and Saira Banu yet
According to media reports, Vandana Shah clarified that there is no divorce between AR Rahman and Saira Banu yet. Both of them have decided to separate from each other due to differences arising in their relationship. Vandana Shah said, “First of all, let me clear that the divorce has not happened yet. They are still married. We had issued a joint statement in which it was said that things are not going well and there is a gap between them which they are not able to cross. For this reason they have decided to end their marriage. We have not said anywhere that the divorce has taken place or that we have started the process.” It is clear from this statement that the divorce process has not started yet, but due to confusion and differences in their relationship, they have decided to separate.
Clarification given on hashtag controversy
Lawyer Vandana Shah, while answering the questions raised on AR Rahman's social media post, said that people will always say something and it has no meaning. He also said, “Kuch to log kahenge, log ka kaam hai kehna,” and also advised to ignore the trollers. Vandana Shah also said that the post Rehman had written was very beautiful and more attention should be paid to the content of that post. He believed that it is common to react to any statement on social media, but in reality we should focus on the spirit and meaning of that message.
The news of connection between Mohini Dey and Rahman was declared baseless.
Advocate Vandana Shah reacted to the idea of linking AR Rahman and Mohini Dey after their separation. He denied that there was any kind of relationship between the two. Vandana termed the speculation as baseless and said that this is only media speculation, and no personal information can be confirmed. Apart from this, he appealed to take care of the privacy of both the parties and said that we should respect personal life in these matters, instead of making any kind of guesses.
