Consumption of mango can be heavy for these people, know what is the reason?

New Delhi . Mango is very much liked by most of the people. The fun of eating juicy mangoes in the summer season is different. Apart from being delicious, mango is also very beneficial for health. Potassium, magnesium, copper and fiber are also found in mango. But consuming mango can sometimes prove to be very harmful for you. In such a situation, the question arises that when and in how much quantity mango should be consumed? Can you ever eat mango? What is the best time to eat mango? Or can you consume mango on an empty stomach in the morning? So let’s know the answers to all these questions.

Mango does energy boost-

Dietician Lovleen Kaur, C-Founder of Diet Insight, while talking to a website said that there is no problem in eating mangoes on an empty stomach, as they boost energy, but it is important that we do not consume it in large quantities. He said, “Yes, it is absolutely fine to eat mangoes on an empty stomach. Our body needs alkaline foods in the morning and hence it is good to start the morning with these things instead of citrus fruits. Consuming mango should be avoided just after eating food and before sleeping at night. Because consuming mango at this time can increase the level of glucose in your blood.

These people should consume mangoes carefully

Lovleen Kaur said, diabetic patients can consume mango, but they need to be a little careful while eating it. It is suggested to diabetic patients to consume fiber-rich things like nuts, seeds, etc. along with mangoes so that the glycemic load can be balanced. Also, diabetic patients should avoid mangoes that come in the beginning of the season as there is a lot of possibility of adulteration in it.

Abhilasha V, Chief Clinical Nutritionist at Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, Bangalore, says that mangoes can prove to be a good breakfast option for most people. But people with the problem of diabetes and IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) need to be a little cautious. Abhilasha said, you can take mango in the form of smoothie in the morning or use it in lassi, apart from this you can eat mango in the evening milkshake and as a sweet after dinner, but for this, you can eat mango. It is necessary that you consume it accordingly. If you consume mangoes accordingly, then you can eat it anytime, it will not harm you.

Diabetic patients need to be careful while consuming mango as it can increase your blood sugar level. Apart from this, diabetic patients should not consume mango at all after having a meal as it can cause increase in sugar level. If you have diabetes then you should consume mango in very small portions. Apart from this, if you have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and acidity problem, then you should avoid consuming mango on an empty stomach.

Mango quality is very important

Functional Nutritionist Mugdha Pradhan said, “We often think whether it is right to eat mangoes on an empty stomach, then the answer is yes. But in the morning, it can be consumed only by those people who do not have severe insulin resistance or hyperglycemia (high level of blood sugar). Other people can consume mangoes after having food, but one thing should be kept in mind that mangoes should be organic and no adulteration of any kind has been done in them.

Apart from this, Mugdha also said that before eating anything, you must drink a glass of plain water or lemon juice mixed in it. Before working with this, the digestive system boosts itself.
