Madgaon Express will have its world television premiere on Zee Cinema on September 28

Bollywood actor-director Kunal Kemmu's film Madgaon Express will have its world television premiere on Zee Cinema on September 28.

Packed with amazing twists and strong comedy, Madgaon Express is all set to premiere on Zee Cinema on Saturday, 28th September at 8 PM. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, the film promises to keep the audience hooked with its interesting storyline and captivating performances by the powerful cast of Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary and Nora Fatehi. Directed by Kunal Kemmu, known for his impeccable comic timing, the film brings an unmatched dose of laughter and thrill!

Director Kunal Kemmu said, “Madgaon Express is very special to me, not just because it is my first film as a director, but the entire experience of making this film has been special. I had this idea in mind for a long time about three friends whose journey shows how expectations often clash with reality. It is inspired by my first trip to Goa, which I made in Madgaon Express. This film gives the experience of a classic entertainer that everyone can enjoy. This film has been made with a lot of heart, and this is clearly visible on screen as well.”

Divyenndu said, “When I first read the script of Madgaon Express, I was literally laughing. I haven’t read something this funny and real in a long time. Comedy is tough to do, but the writing was perfect, especially for my character Dodo. Dodo is that friend in every group who is left behind, caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, and I think people will really connect with him. It took time to fully understand his loneliness and the emotions of being left out. Hanging out with Pratik and Avinash after the shoot helped me get ready for the next day. The writing was really brilliant, with laughter flowing naturally through the characters. If it was this much fun to read, I knew it would be a blast to perform.”

Pratik Gandhi said, “It is always a pleasure to work with such a fun and talented group like Kunal, Divyenndu, Nora and Avinash. I learned so much from each one of them! There were many funny moments on set, as well as some very awkward moments like when I dislocated my shoulder. But Kunal, being a very clear and inventive director, incorporated it brilliantly into the film. That was the creativity we had while shooting. Each actor brought forth a unique and interesting character.”

Avinash Tiwary said, “I remember when Kunaal was narrating the story to us, everyone was laughing their hearts out. I knew the audience was going to love it. We had a lot of fun on the set, and all I can say is that some of the moments were very real. As for my character, it was something I hadn’t done before. He is the smartest in the group, but still very passionate, with many facets to him. I am extremely excited that now everyone will watch the film on Zee Cinema and experience the same laughter that we had while shooting.”

Nora Fatehi said, “During the narration, I was instantly interested in the script. It was so fun and full of laughter. The character I play is really interesting. She always messes up but eventually manages everything. It was an amazing experience working with such a fun group like Kunaal, Divyenndu, Prateek and Avinash. I learnt so much from them! I would definitely want to play more such roles in the future.”
