Magistrate orders inquiry into Goa fire accident, PM and President Murmu expressed grief, know updates

President Draupadi Murmu has expressed condolences on the Goa Nightclub Fire. He expressed his views through a post on social media platform X. He expressed his condolences and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Apart from this, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the accident.

President expressed grief

President Draupadi Murmu has expressed grief over the fire accident. He wrote in the post that he was deeply saddened by the tragic incident of fire in North Goa district, in which many precious lives were lost. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims. May God give them courage in this difficult time. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Magistrate inquiry order

CM Pramod Sawant has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the fire accident (Goa Nightclub Fire). He said on his X account that I am closely taking stock of the situation arising out of the tragic fire incident in Arpora, in which 25 people lost their lives and 6 were injured. The condition of all six injured people is stable and they are receiving the best medical treatment. I have ordered a magisterial inquiry into this entire incident to find out the cause and fix responsibility.

PM talked to CM Sawant

The CM said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to me about the tragic fire incident in Arpora, and I told him about the ground situation. The Goa government is providing all possible help to the affected families in this difficult time. At the same time, expressing grief over the accident, the Prime Minister has announced to give Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand to the injured.
