Let us tell you that the Strait of Hormuz is a lifeline for the world. After the war, fuel crisis arose in many countries around the world. The economy was adversely affected. Now it is being said that Hormuz will be restored as before in 30 days. That means, the situation that existed before the war will be restored. Tension had increased a lot in the Middle East in the last few months. Due to tensions between Iran and other countries, the ships passing through this route reduced. Ship owners and oil companies are afraid that their ships may get damaged. Due to this, the supply of oil has slowed down and the oil prices and market conditions are being affected across the world.
Amidst all this, US President Donald Trump wrote on social media that an agreement has almost been finalized between America, Iran and some other countries of that region. President Trump also said that this deal includes reopening of Hormuz and it will be announced soon.
Pakistan’s role too
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that his country has talked to the leaders of Iran and the conversation was very good. He said that the next round of talks between America and Iran is going to happen soon.

What did Britain say?
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has also given a statement on this. He said that the progress that has been made in the talks between America and Iran is a good thing. Starmer clearly said that we need an agreement that ends this war and fully reopens Hormuz.
What benefit does India get from opening of Hormuz?
If the route of Hormuz becomes smooth as before, then it will be a news of relief for India also. Because India imports more than 80 percent of its crude oil needs, a large part of which comes through this route. Due to fear of war, ships are not taking the route to Hormuz and have to come through a longer route. Due to this the cost of insurance is also increasing. If the route is safe then the cost of transportation of goods will be saved. This will directly benefit India in export-import.
What effect will this have on the world?

If this agreement is actually reached and ships start passing through Hormuz in the same number as before, then the entire world will directly benefit from it. The supply of oil and gas will be fine. Prices will be stable. And the economies of the countries which are dependent on this route will get relief.
