Mallikarjun Kharge News: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge fell unwell while addressing a public meeting in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. While giving the speech, Mallikarjun Kharge felt dizzy and his breathing started becoming heavy. His security personnel and other Congress leaders handled him. After this the election campaign was stopped for some time. After taking a sip of water, Kharge returned to his speech, although he ended the speech early. After this the Congress members helped him to sit back on his seat.

In his speech, he took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying, “I will remain alive until PM Modi is out of power.”

Kharge later said, “We will fight to restore statehood. I am turning 83, I am not going to die so soon. I will remain alive until PM Modi is out of power.”

Preparations are going on for the final phase of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir on October 1. The campaign will end on Sunday (September 29), before the third phase. This is the first assembly election to be held in the region in a decade.

The first phase took place on 18 September, followed by the second phase on 25 September. The results are to be declared on October 8. 40 constituencies will participate in the third phase, out of which 24 constituencies are located in Jammu division.
