Mathura Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid case, order to transfer pending case to Allahabad High Court

1

The Allahabad High Court has ordered the transfer of pending cases in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Rizgah Masjid case in Mathura to the Allahabad High Court. The Allahabad High Court had reserved the decision after the hearing on 3 May. The Allahabad High Court has accepted the petition seeking transfer of pending cases. The High Court ordered the District Judge Mathura to transfer all pending cases to the High Court, after which all pending matters of the case would now be heard in the Allahabad High Court.

It is notable that Lord Krishna Virajman and 7 others had filed a petition demanding the transfer of pending cases in the Mathura court to the High Court. The court has filed its reply to the respondent parties (Central Waqf Board, Committee of Management Trust, Shahi Masjid, Mathura, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust and Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan).
