Mayank, Rana get place in T20 series against Bangladesh

BCCI has announced India's team for the three T20 matches to be played against Bangladesh on Saturday night. These three T20 matches against Bangladesh will be played on 6, 9 and 12 October. Currently, the Test series between India and Bangladesh is being played at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, where India has maintained a 1-0 lead.

This time the name of fast bowler Mayank Yadav is also in the T20 series against Bangladesh. Mayank Yadav is being included in this series after completing about five months of rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy. Under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, this team includes former T20 captain Hardik Pandya as a senior. Looking at the team, it can be guessed that players who have performed well in the recent IPL have been selected in this team.

These players also got a chance
Apart from this, Varun Chakravarthy, who plays for KKR, has had a disappointing performance in UAE in 2021. He has been recalled to the team after three years of the T20 World Cup campaign. After Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey, backup all-rounder Nitish Reddy has also got a chance, who was ruled out of the recent Zimbabwe tour due to injury. Talented players like Riyan Parag, Abhishek Sharma, Harshit Rana have found a place in the 15-member squad, with Jitesh Sharma as the second wicketkeeper after Sanju Samson.

Mayank has been the player of the match
The inclusion of Mayank Yadav in this team is a surprising decision. Mayank Yadav, while playing for Lucknow Super Giants during three out of four IPL matches, bowled at a speed of 150 km per hour continuously, due to which he was consistently named 'Player of the Match' which attracted everyone's attention. However, the 22-year-old player was ruled out due to a lower abdominal strain. Recently he has been practicing everyday at NCA and bowling 14-15 overs.
