Meeting under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate to celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in a dignified manner.

Under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate Nagar Madan Kumar, a meeting was organized on Thursday regarding the celebration of Mahatma Gandhi's 155th birth anniversary – October 2, the national festival, in a dignified manner and preparations for various programs to be organized on this occasion. In the meeting, the Additional District Magistrate has given necessary guidelines regarding organizing various programs to remember the sacred memory and contribution of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and to take inspiration from his work and personality. He has asked the Municipal Corporation officials to clean the statues in the city area, conduct cleanliness drive for the cleanliness of the city and special cleanliness around the slums and on the banks of rivers. He has directed the District Panchayati Raj Officer to get special cleanliness done in the Gram Panchayats.

Additional District Magistrate Nagar has asked the District School Inspector and Basic Education Officer to get the cleaning work done properly in all the offices before 2nd October. It has been asked to organize painting. On this occasion, the national flag will be hoisted in all government/semi-government offices and institutions and the national anthem will be sung. Along with this, wreath laying and symposium will be organized on his portrait in the offices.

On this occasion, cross country race was organized by the Regional Sports Officer from Chandrashekhar Azad Park Gate No. 3, health camp in slums by the Health Department, traffic awareness campaign and felicitation ceremony by the District Crime Prevention Committee, free health test and blood donation by Punjabi Sabha Prayagraj. The camp will be organized by Prayagraj Vyapar Mandal, fruit distribution in Khuldabad Children's Home and various programs will be organized by other social organizations.
