  • Wheat flour-1 cup
  • Desi ghee-1 cup
  • Gum-1/2 cup
  • Dry ginger-2 tsp
  • Cashew – 1/2 cup
  • Walnuts-1/2 cup
  • Almonds-1/2 cup
  • Green cardamom ground – 6-7

Method (Methi ke Laddu)

1-To make laddus, first wash the fenugreek seeds thoroughly and soak them in 2 cups of milk. If you want, you can also grind fenugreek and soak it in milk. If fenugreek has been soaked whole, then put it in a mixer and grind it coarsely.
2-Now put ghee in a pan and fry almonds, cashews, walnuts and gum one by one. Fry the gum on low flame until it is completely roasted and becomes sticky.
3-Now add ground fenugreek to the remaining ghee and fry it lightly. If ghee is less then add some more ghee. After roasting fenugreek, add dry ginger powder and fry some more.
4- Take out fenugreek from the pan, add gram flour and wheat flour to it and fry. Fry it until it turns golden brown and then take it out.
5- Now add one spoon ghee in the pan and add pieces of jaggery in it and melt it. Boil it till the jaggery melts and add one spoon water to it and dissolve it well.
6-After the jaggery melts, turn off the gas and add all the roasted ingredients, dry fruits and gum and mix. After it cools down for a while, mix it well with hands.
7-After mixing all the ingredients, prepare it by making small laddus with hands. These laddus are excellent for keeping the body warm in winter and providing relief from pain.
