Coronavirus Vaccine Latest News: The Center’s Narendra Modi (Narenndra Modi) government has launched Mission Kovid Security to help accelerate efforts to develop around five-six potential vaccines (Coronavirus Vaccine) for prevention of Kovid-19.
the Department of Biotechnology said that it will also ensure that the process of getting licenses
for vaccines is completed soon and they can be introduced in the market. The government had announced a package of Rs 900 crore for vaccines earlier this month.
Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan has said that the government is setting up a strong ecosystem for production
distribution of Kovid-19 vaccines, so as to meet the demand.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan also said that while the world is making efforts to develop Kovid-19 vaccine,
India is trying to develop the vaccine and become self-sufficient in its manufacture on a large scale.
Addressing the digital ‘Global R&D Conference 2020’ organized by FICCI in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, he said, “India, called the world’s dispensary, has the highest potential for producing Kovid-19 vaccines.” Harsh Vardhan said that we have now started taking steps towards strengthening the vaccine production and distribution ecosystem so that our demand can be met in the coming days.
