Mohammed Siraj out of T20I series against England and Ireland, replacement announced
Mohammed Siraj ruled out of UK tour : BCCI had recently announced the Indian team for the tour of England and Ireland. Experienced oil bowler Mohammad Siraj was included in the Indian team for the T20I series on these tours. But, the right-arm star fast bowler has been ruled out of the upcoming tour. Prasidh Krishna has been included in the team in his place.

Actually, under workload management, Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has been advised to rest. Prasidh Krishna has been included in the squad in his place for the T20I series to be held in Ireland and England. According to the statement issued by BCCI, fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been dropped from the Indian team for the T20I series against Ireland and England.
After talks between the BCCI medical team and the team management, Siraj has been advised rest as part of their workload management programme. This decision has been taken as a precaution so that he can get full time to recover before the long international season. The men’s selection committee has included Prasidh Krishna in the squad in place of Siraj for both the T20I series.
