At present, there is more discussion on the internet about the unique casting than the story of the film, which has surprised and troubled the fans. In the film, glamorous actress Mouni Roy has been shown in the role of actor Varun Dhawan’s ‘fake mother’, on which people have now become angry.

What a joke is going on in Bollywood! Another user said, ‘Mouni Roy has become his fake mother, this situation does not look believable at all on the screen.’ Some users took a dig at David Dhawan’s old comedy style and wrote that instead of making Mouni a mother, a little more work would have been done on the script.

Confusion regarding release date

Changes were going on for a long time regarding the release date of this rom-com film starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. The film was earlier scheduled to hit the theaters on June 5, 2026. After this, the makers changed its date to 22 May 2026 to avoid the box office clash with the film ‘Toxic’.

Release date postponed

However, when the release of ‘Toxic’ was postponed, the makers heaved a sigh of relief and rescheduled ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ once again to its previously scheduled date, i.e. 5 June 2026. Now it will be interesting to see how successful this unique fake-mother comedy is in attracting the audience to the theatres.
