17 vehicle thieves arrested with 21 bikes stolen
Jaipur. Rajasthan Police has seized 21 stolen bikes and arrested 17 vehicle thieves in Bharatpur district of the state. A police officer gave this information. Bharatpur Superintendent of Police Shyam Singh said in a statement here on Saturday that this action was taken as part of the special drive being run for vehicle checking and vehicle verification. Under this, the Pahari police station seized six motorcycles and arrested the accused Surendra, Sabbir Meo, Bajid, Lakhpat, Shahid and Shahrukh and registered a case against them.
He said that in Jurhra police station police have seized 11 bikes and arrested seven accused, Jackum Meo, Mukesh, Lekhraj Jatav, Mufid Meo, Asik, Mohammad Kaif, Anil Jatav, Javed, Haseen, Yusuf Qureshi and Mannan. He said that four motorcycles have been seized under section 102 of IPC on suspicion of theft. Five of the arrested accused are from Nuh Mewat area of Haryana state.
