Bank Holidays: Banks will remain closed for 5 consecutive days,complete your work accordingly

All private and government banks (Govt And Private Bank) will be closed for a total of 5 days from next week (from January 9, 2022). Keeping these holidays in mind, you will have to complete all your important work related to the bank.

RBI guidelines state that public sector, private sector, foreign banks, cooperative banks and regional banks across the country will remain closed on specified dates.

Bank holidays are different for each state, however, there are some days when there are Republic Day (26 January), Independence Day (15 August), and Gandhi Jayanti (October 2), Christmas Day (January 26) across India. 25 December) Banks remain closed. RBI also releases a complete list of holidays related to banks. At the same time, many states also have bank holidays during state-specific holidays. Then the banks of the whole country do not close.
