Gyanvapi controversy: Friends became friends after meeting in the temple, survey is being done on the petition of these five women
Controversy has been going on for years regarding Gyanvapi, but when the court ordered the survey, the matter gained more momentum. This survey is being done on a petition filed by five women. Where after the decision of the court, the survey of the first day in the Gyanvapi campus was completed. In the presence of Advocate Commissioner, the team here inspected every single thing closely. During the inspection, Advocate Commissioner Ajay Mishra along with more than 50 people from the plaintiff-respondent side were present in the premises. Let us tell you that the order of the survey has been given regarding the petition filed by five women. The five women on whose petition this order has been given are Sita Sah, Rakhi Singh, Laxmi Devi Manju Vyas and Rekha Pathak.

Manju says that, we all used to meet during darshan in Shri Kashi Vishwanath and the round of such meetings continued and we all became friends. She also used to go to satsang. In the meantime, everyone thought together that some such work should be done that the temple of Maa Shringar Gauri should be opened and all of them can go to the temple daily and take advantage of the darshan. Sita Sahu, a resident of Chetanganj, is a social worker. Her husband’s name is Bal Gopal Sahu. Sita says that she has come forward many times to worship Maa Shringar Gauri. It is being claimed on their behalf that the temple of Maa Shringar Gauri is built inside the mosque.
The case is being led by Rakhi Singh, a resident of Hauz Khas, Delhi. The case has been named ‘Rakhi Singh and others vs Government of Uttar Pradesh’. Rakhi’s second house is located in Hussainganj, Lucknow.
Rekha’s house is near Hanuman gate of Varanasi. Her husband’s name is Atul Kumar Pathak. He says that it is the center of faith for all.
Laxmi hails from Mahmoorganj area of Varanasi. A case was also registered by her husband Dr. Sohan Lal Arya in 1996 regarding Gyanvapi. After that Gyanvapi was also inspected, although the survey could not be done.
Manju Vyas is also a resident of Varanasi. His house is in Ram Ghat. Her husband’s name is Vikram Vyas. Manju is also a social worker. Manju says that the darshan of Maa Shringar Gauri should be allowed.
