Udaipur, (Rajasthan): There is confusion in the Congress about doing politics on the issue of Hindutva and this atmosphere was clearly visible in the three-day contemplation camp of the party going on here at a time when many leaders of the party did politics on the issue of Hindutva. While supporting it, some strongly opposed it.
Congress sources said the issue came up during the meeting of the political committee on the second day of the Chintan Shivir. In the meeting, some leaders of Kerala said that former party president Rahul Gandhi should not visit temples during elections as its negative message goes to voters and then it is propagated that Congress leadership should visit temples only during elections. miss you
There was a lot of discussion among the representatives present in the meeting regarding this issue.
He told that when the discussion was going on among the members regarding this issue, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel opposed it and said that not only Mr. Gandhi but also Congress President Sonia Gandhi should visit religious places at the time of elections. . He said that Congress leaders should go to temples, mosques, gurudwaras and churches. With this, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will not get a chance to attack the Congress in the name of religion.
He said that if the top Congress leaders do not go to religious places, then BJP will campaign that they have nothing to do with religion and religious places and if this happens then BJP will get its direct benefit during the elections.
Party sources also said that the next day after the conclusion of the ‘Chintan Shivir’, Mr. Gandhi will visit the famous Tripurasundari temple in Banswara, Rajasthan. This is a very famous temple of Rajasthan and former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia visits this temple every time before contesting elections. Mr. Gandhi is scheduled to visit four temples tomorrow.
