A CISF jawan on Saturday shot two of his comrades at the ‘Indian Museum’ located in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. The jawan used his service weapon AK-47 to shoot. In this incident, one fellow jawan died on the spot while the other got injured who has been admitted to the hospital. AK-47 is counted among dangerous weapons.

The CISF jawan was inside after shooting the comrades. After hearing the gunshots, many people gathered around the place. The injured jawan was rushed to the hospital with the help of an ambulance. At the same time, the police have arrested the accused CISF jawan. A large number of police forces have also been deployed at the spot.

In December 2019 too, the CISF took over the security of the Indian Museum. It is not yet known why the CISF jawan opened fire on his fellow jawan. Was there a dispute between the three about something or was there some other reason? At present, the police has caught the accused jawan and has taken him with them.
