Leave no stone unturned against big and vicious criminals: Yogi Adityanath
Varanasi. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to take strict action against the big vicious criminals of Varanasi region. He said that action should be ensured by running a campaign against such people. The image of the police has definitely improved in the last 5 years. Nevertheless, there is still room for further improvement.
The Chief Minister, who came to the city on a two-day visit on Thursday evening, was reviewing the development works and law and order of Varanasi division in the commissionerate auditorium. Directing the police officers in the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the image of the police should be good in the general public, for this, the smallest information should be taken seriously and speedy action should be ensured. The Chief Minister gave strict instructions to the police officers that illegal recovery should not happen under any circumstances. This should be fully monitored from the police station, CO and SDM level and strict action should be ensured against such people.
Earlier, the Chief Minister inquired about the progress of development schemes in Varanasi and Mandal. The Chief Minister asked for the selection of beneficiaries in the Prime Minister’s Housing (Urban) with complete transparency and honesty. The Chief Minister also learned about the preparedness in the districts to deal with possible floods and droughts. In the meeting, the Chief Minister also formally launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’.
Instructions given to public representatives and officials
In the review meeting, the Chief Minister, while directing the public representatives and officers of the districts of the division, said that in view of Covid. 19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a call to everyone to get precocious doses. Therefore, by giving wide publicity to it, in mission mode, 100 percent people who fall in the category of eligibility should be given free booster dose. He said that 100% biometric action should be ensured under MNREGA. There should be no negligence at any stage and no one should be inconvenienced.
Connect the common man with the tricolor campaign at Har Ghar
The Chief Minister gave guidelines for connecting people with the common man under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’. Apart from this, to do quality work under Jal Jeevan Mission, to ensure that drinking water supply with purity, nodal officers were also asked to ensure deployment.
PM Awas Yojana focus on urban
During the review of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave strict instructions to the officials saying that some complaints are being received in this. District Magistrates should take this seriously. The selection of beneficiaries should be ensured with complete transparency and honesty. If any discrepancy is found in this, then strict action should be ensured against the concerned in every case.
Chief Minister asked the problems from the public representatives
During the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked the public representatives their problems, then Minister of State Dr. Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’ raised the issue of money given in mass marriages. Referring to the negligence of some officers under Jal Jeevan Mission, MLA of Varanasi Pindra Vidhan Sabha, Dr. Awadhesh Singh said that despite repeated calls, the officials are not taking them seriously.
Cantt MLA Saurabh Srivastava raised the issue of basic needs of Ramnagar Municipality area. On this, the Chief Minister asked the Municipal Commissioner about cleanliness and said that there were complaints in this regard in the previous meeting also. Taking this seriously, he directed to ensure proper cleanliness. Rohaniya MLA Sunil Patel demanded construction of flyover in Mohansarai. MLC Laxman Acharya demanded the strengthening of the medical system in Ramnagar area. The people’s representatives of Jaunpur, Ghazipur and Chandauli districts also apprised the Chief Minister about certain problems of their respective areas. On which the Chief Minister directed the concerned departmental officers to ensure speedy disposal of Shyam.
