National News: Big revelation in ADR report – Most of the election donations were in bonds of 1 crore and 10 lakh rupees
There has been a big revelation in the ADR report regarding electoral bonds i.e. election donations. According to the report, out of the total donations given to political parties, 12207 bonds were of Rs 1 crore and 5366 bonds were of Rs 10 lakh, which were given to political parties. ADR said in its report that between April 2019 and 15 February 2024, a total of 22217 electoral bonds were given to political parties as election donations, worth Rs 12769 crore.
Amidst the controversy over election donations received by political parties, ADR (Association of Democratic Reforms) has made another major revelation regarding election bonds and said that a large amount of these donations will be given to political parties in the form of 1 rupee bonds. Crore and 10 lakhs are given.
While these bonds were also of small amount, in which Rs. 1 lakh, Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 1,000 bond was included. Out of the total bonds issued to political parties, 12207 bonds were of Rs 1 crore and 5366 bonds were of Rs 10 lakhs. This shocking revelation has been made in the report.

According to the ADR report, there were only four parties who received electoral bonds, which received Rs. 1,000 bond was also received. Of these, BJP has got 31 bonds, Trinamool 14, Congress five and BRS nine bonds of Rs 1000 each.
