New Delhi

After a long time, the voices of political protest were seen rising on the streets of Delhi. This will probably be the first time in eight years of the BJP government that the Congress is protesting on the streets like this. Earlier, the demonstrations of the Congress used to end only on the Parliament premises. But BJP is diverting the route of these protests. On the other hand, Congress is standing on its stand.

The weather in the capital Delhi was a bit cold on Friday. There was light rain in the morning but as the Congress workers took to the streets, the heat also increased. A picture of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi was going viral on social media. It was not clear whether she was holding the hand of a female policeman or was twisting. BJP has again posted a picture on social media today. This picture is of Rahul Gandhi. In the picture, Rahul is seen pulling off Deepender Hooda’s shirt.

BJP alleges
BJP IT Wing Chief Amit Malviya posted a picture of Rahul Gandhi holding Congress leader Deependra S Hooda tightly. Amit Malviya alleged that the Wayanad MP was deliberately trying to rip off his colleague’s shirt. Malviya also claimed that Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, who had joined the protest outside the party headquarters, folded her hands and kicked and assaulted the policemen on duty.

Priyanka Gandhi also surrounded
Amit Malviya tweeted that after Priyanka Gandhi Vadra twisted one hand, Rahul Gandhi tore the shirt of his colleague Deependra Hooda. So that it becomes a good protest picture and Delhi Police can be blamed for it. The Gandhi brothers and sisters are strong supporters of the politics of Tamasha. A day earlier, the revenge form of Priyanka Gandhi was seen. Priyanka Gandhi had a scuffle with the police and after that Priyanka also crossed the barricading. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi was also holding the front.

Delhi Police registered a case
Delhi Police has registered a case at Tughlaq Road police station in connection with the Congress protests. Officials gave this information. The opposition Congress had called for a nationwide protest on Friday against inflation, unemployment and hike in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on essential commodities. Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Amrita Guguloth said that the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has sections 186 (preventing public servant from discharging public functions), 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 332 (public servant doing his work). A case has been registered with Tughlaq Road police station under charges of intentional causing hurt to deter him from doing so) and 34 (common intention). The police had on Friday detained over 300 protesters, including 65 MPs, from Lutyens’ Delhi.

Allegation and counter-allegation politics in Congress-BJP
The Congress on Friday hit out at Home Minister Amit Shah for his remarks regarding its protest against inflation and unemployment, saying that Shah has made a disgusting attempt to malign its (Congress’s) peaceful protest. Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh also claimed that only people of ill mentality can give such bogus arguments. Shah said, “Today is the day Congress chose to protest in black clothes because they want to send a message through this that we oppose the foundation stone laying of Ram Janmabhoomi and want to carry forward our policy of appeasement.” “Today Home Minister made a disgusting attempt to malign and divert attention from the democratic and peaceful protest of Congress against inflation, unemployment and GST,” Ramesh tweeted.
