Suggestions sought from states in PM Modi’s vision paper being prepared for 25 years – Tezzbuzz


Uttarakhand will also contribute to the vision and strategy being prepared for the next 25 years during the period of 75 years of independence of the country, that is, the period of Amrit Kaal. The state government has constituted six committees under the chairmanship of top officials of the government to prepare vision papers in 10 key areas.

Suggestions have also been sought from the states in the vision paper being prepared for the next 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Letters have been sent by NITI Aayog to the Chief Secretaries of all the states regarding the vision paper-2047. Chief Secretary Dr. SS Sandhu has constituted committees in this order. He also held a meeting with the secretaries of the respective committees at the Secretariat.

All the committees have been directed to finalize the detailed vision paper with reference to the state. The Chief Secretary has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Home for security and forest matters. It includes Director General of Police as a member. Similarly, Agriculture Secretary is a member in the committee constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Rural Development for rural and agriculture sector.

A four-member committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary, Public Works Department for infrastructure facilities and commerce and industry sector. In this, the secretaries of energy, industrial development and tourism are members. Similarly, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the departmental principal secretary for social welfare. Women empowerment and child development secretary are also involved in this.

Under the chairmanship of Finance Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram for Resource, Finance and Revenue Sector, Finance Secretary Saujanya and Planning Secretary Dr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha have been included in the committee. Information and Technology Secretary and General Administration Secretary have been included in the committee under the chairmanship of Secretary Personnel for Technology and Governance Sector.
