New Triumph Street Triple 765 RX Is Here – Limited Edition Track Monster Unveiled – Breaking News & Live Updates Today

After making waves globally, British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has finally officially launched its most dangerous and race-track enthusiast motorcycle, the Triumph Street Triple 765 RX limited-edition motorcycle, in the Indian superbike market. Compared to the standard RS model, the new RX series is here to deliver a surgical strike directly at the reins of the Kawasaki Z900 and Ducati Streetfighter, with its Moto2 racing DNA, fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, and ultra-aggressive riding posture.

Triumph Street Triple 765 RX

The Triumph Street Triple 765 RX has been designed more for the purpose of taking sharp turns on a race track than on regular roads. Consequently, the company has made significant and aggressive changes to its ergonomics, i.e., the seating position. Instead of the upright, comfortable single handlebars found on the standard RS model, this RX variant features sporty clip-on handlebars. This allows the rider to lean forward significantly while riding, providing hawk-like agility to break through wind pressure at high speeds and achieve precise cornering control.

The bike also boasts a premium and sporty appearance. It is adorned with a distinctive and majestic silver paint scheme, complemented by a bold red subframe and red pinstripes on the wheels, providing a striking visual contrast. The bright ‘RX’ badging on the bike’s muffler (silencer) and seat unit clearly indicates its premium and limited-edition status.

Moto2 Derived Engine

The heart and soul of this superbike is the same legendary 765cc liquid-cooled, inline-triple (3-cylinder) engine that Triumph uses in its Moto2 racing championship vehicles. This engine is beyond the reach of the average rider; it produces a blistering 130 hp at 12,000 rpm and a robust 80 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm.

This powerful powerhouse is paired with a short-shift 6-speed gearbox. For quick gear changes on the race track without even pressing the clutch, a bi-directional quickshifter is standard. When you fully press the accelerator, the three-cylinder engine will emit a melodious, sharp Inline-Triple Scream that’s sure to send shivers down any rider’s spine.

Premium Hardware & Controls

Triumph has made significant and premium upgrades to the suspension setup of this limited-edition model to elevate its performance to the highest level. Compared to the standard RS model, the new RX features fully adjustable 41mm Ohlins NIX30 upside-down (USD) forks at the front, which the rider can tune to suit their needs and the track conditions. The rear retains the same robust Ohlins STX40 monoshock suspension, providing the bike with impeccable balance on sharp turns.

To bring this high-speed machine to a stop within just a few meters, the world’s best braking components have been used. The front wheel features twin 310mm floating disc brakes equipped with Brembo’s flagship Stylema four-piston monoblock calipers, while the rear wheel features a 220mm disc brake. For a bulletproof grip on the road and when cornering, the superbike comes shod with race-spec Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres, which provide a firm grip on the road.

Advanced Tech Features

To ensure rider control of this bike with such low weight and high power, Triumph has provided an impenetrable shield of modern technology. Its cockpit features a sleek TFT digital display, featuring modern features like Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

On the safety front, the bike comes with state-of-the-art Cornering ABS and a switchable traction control system, which prevents the bike’s wheels from locking or slipping even on wet or slippery roads. Furthermore, the rider gets multiple riding modes (Rain, Road, Sport, Track, and Rider Configurable) to customize the bike’s power according to different weather and road conditions, which enhances its practical utility manifold.

Expected Price

Speaking of pricing, Triumph India has set the starting ex-showroom price of this unique Street Triple 765 RX at ₹13.91 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This price is almost a lakh rupees more than the standard RS model (₹12.93 lakh). But for this extra price, you get track-oriented clip-on handlebars, ultra-premium Ohlins front suspension, Pirelli racing tyres, and an extremely rare limited-edition paint scheme, making this bike worth every penny.
