There is good news for crores of farmers of the country under the ambitious scheme of the Central Government, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The government has decided to release the next installment of Rs 2000 in the accounts of farmers during Navratri. According to the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 18th installment for farmers on October 5. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 6000 annually to small and marginal farmers of the country. This amount is sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer.

It is necessary to do e-KYC

To avail the benefits of the scheme, it is mandatory for farmers to have e-KYC. Farmers can confirm their identity through e-KYC. Farmers can get e-KYC done through online OTP or by visiting the Common Service Center through their fingerprint or face print.

How to do e-KYC

Farmers can do e-KYC through OTP by visiting PM Kisan portal or through mobile app. Apart from this, farmers can also get e-KYC done through biometric method by visiting the Common Service Center. Secondly, apart from e-KYC, only those farmers will get the benefit of installment who have completed the land verification and Aadhaar linking work.
