Many flights are often postponed due to fog and other reasons. Especially in the winter season, when visibility reaches zero in North India, it becomes a compulsion to postpone the flight. In such a situation, it becomes very difficult for the passengers and they have to face losses. A meeting was held by the officials in this regard and a new decision has been taken which will reduce the problems of the passengers.

Let us tell you that it has been informed by Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu that the airline will have to behave responsibly and truthfully towards the passengers in every situation. If any plane is going to be delayed then passengers will have to be informed about it immediately.
Flight will have to be canceled if it is delayed by more than 3 hours
It has been clearly stated by the officials that if the flight is delayed by more than 3 hours then it will have to be postponed immediately. It has been suggested to Delhi Airport operator DIAL that this information will have to be given on LED screens.
What will happen after the flight is cancelled?
Apart from this, if the flight is cancelled, the passenger will be entitled to receive full payment for the ticket. Apart from this, airlines can also arrange another flight for the passengers but no extra fee will be charged from the passenger for this. It was also said that if the second flight is also delayed, it is the responsibility of the airline to make arrangements for accommodation including food for the passengers and not to charge extra for the same.
