How often can I update the name?
According to the official memorandum of UIDAI, the name in Aadhaar can be updated only twice.
How often can you change your date of birth?
The rules for updating the date of birth are very strict. Aadhaar can be changed only once. In this, the change of birth date recorded at the time of Aadhaar enrollment is allowed with a maximum range of three years (plus or minus). If a person does not have a certified document for date of birth at the time of enrollment, the date of birth will be written as ‘Declared’ or ‘Estimated’ in UIDAI.
How often can I update gender?
According to the UIDAI Memorandum, the gender can be updated only once in the Aadhaar card. Even after the limit of updating these three in Aadhaar card, if anyone wants to update his name, gender or date of birth, then he has to use the exception handling process. For this, the Aadhaar card holder will have to apply to the Regional Office of UIDAI.
